8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary until you tell us otherwise. When you first visit, a banner asks what you are happy for us to use. You can change your mind at any time from , which is also linked at the foot of every page. If you withdraw consent, we remove the cookies we can and reload the page.
Strictly necessary (always on)
Needed for the Site to work and to remember your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics (optional)
Lets PostHog count visits and show us which pages people use, so we can improve the Site. PostHog stores this data on servers in the EU on our behalf. We do not use it to identify you, and it does not load unless you accept analytics cookies.
Newsletter (optional)
Lets MailerLite show the sign-up for our free weekly AI newsletter and remember when you have seen it, so it does not appear on every visit. If you sign up, MailerLite processes your email address on our behalf.
Marketing (optional)
Lets Google Ads and LinkedIn measure whether our adverts lead people to the Site. These cookies are set and controlled by Google and LinkedIn under their own privacy policies. We use Google Consent Mode, which tells Google not to use advertising cookies unless you accept this category.
Videos
Our case study videos are hosted on Vimeo. Nothing loads from Vimeo until you press play, and we ask Vimeo not to track you when you do. Some talks are streamed from our current website host when you press play.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean the Site does not remember your choices.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- SSL encryption for data transmission
- Secure hosting environments
- Access controls and authentication
- Regular security assessments
- Staff training on data protection
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
10. International Data Transfers
We may transfer your data to countries outside your jurisdiction. When we do:
- We ensure adequate protection through appropriate safeguards
- We comply with applicable data protection laws
- We use standard contractual clauses where required
